Powder crystal snow, which is very suitable for skiing and only found in the Alps in the world, is only available in Sarıkamış in our country. Despite the fact that most of the year is sunny, the snow does not lose its freshness on the first day, and gives ski lovers the pleasure of skiing safely on the sparkling piste. Since the ski tracks in Sarıkamış are surrounded by scotch pine forests, they are sheltered from the wind and there is no avalanche danger on the tracks. In addition, forward-thinking managers have protected the ski areas with perfect planning. When any investor plans to invest in Sarıkamış, they can obtain the necessary permits as soon as possible.
Since the ski center is 1 km away from the district, it provides convenience to the investor in terms of transportation, material supply, labor and similar issues. At the beginning is the type and rate of snow falling on the region. Crystal snow, which can only be found in the Alps except Sarıkamış, is extremely suitable for skiing. Despite the fact that most of the year is sunny, the snow does not lose its characteristic on the first day. There is no avalanche danger on the ski slopes of Sarıkamış, where the average annual temperature is 3-4 degrees (the lowest 32, the hottest 33 degrees). Since the tracks are surrounded by yellow pine forests, they are also protected from the wind.
Total Track Length is 25 km. The tracks have 2 stages and there are 5 tracks from the summit to the 1st stage, and 2 tracks from the 1st stage to the bottom. In addition, 2 runways descend from the summit to the Dark Creek. There is a 200 m half-pipe (snowboard) track in this area.
The most important tracks of Sarıkamış Ski Center are located on a plateau with an altitude of 2200-2900 meters in Cebiltepe-Balıklıdağ-Çamurludağ. It has a magnificent natural beauty with its 5-stage track, which reaches a total of 12 kilometers between the pines, and Cebiltepe at an altitude of 2500.
In addition, the cable car system with a length of 30 km has the capacity to carry 4600 people per hour.
