It is located in Inkaya Village, which is 45 degrees southwest of our district. It is located at a point that dominates the historical roads of the region, namely today's modern Erzurum-Kars highway. Although it was built by adapting to the natural structure, the castle, which has a structure close to a rectangle, has the characteristics of the Iron Age and the Middle Ages with its architecture and pottery finds. This castle rises to the east of the village, which was on the former Ottoman Russian border of the Karaurgan Subdistrict, and whose name was changed to Inkaya in 1960. The castle, which was built on a solid rock mass in the center of the geography known as Aşağı Pasin, displays a rectangular plan. It is not known when and by whom the Micingert castle was first built. However, it is possible to see the features of previous periods, as can be seen in the applications reflecting the architectural and stone decoration features of the 7th and 8th centuries in the castle.
